Most the homologation specials are crazy rare and expensive, especially the Group B rally versions. Homologation specials are the cars the manufacturers had to build for the street so they could legally enter them in races which makes them pretty cool. Cars like the E30 M3, the Audi Sport Quattro and the Ford Rs200. And while the M3 is still reasonably priced, the rally car homologations sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Except this one. Because it’s a Toyota and it’s a Celica. But it’s AWD, has a turbo and is pretty cool. And there’s one for sale in Chicago for only $5,500. My friends and I kind of want it, but I already have too many projects.
